Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment goals
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to create and maintain a positive therapeutic environment
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must already possess a Certified Behavior Technician Certification (CBT) from the Department of Health.
- Previous experience working with individuals with ASD or other developmental disabilities is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation, auto insurance, and a valid driver's license
Skills:
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Ability to implement behavior intervention plans effectively
- Proficient in data collection and documentation
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with individuals with ASD
- Excellent problem-solving skills
